Here are your weekly announcements, including some important start-up information for the fall.
Website Calendar Update
Our website calendar has been refreshed! We’ve switched to an Outlook-based calendar. Please note we are aware of the Mobile based website having issue with the calendar and other pages, and are currently working on resolving those issues. At this time the web based site will be the best to look at needed information.
This week:

- Gliding – Parents/Cadets who were signed up for gliding have been sent emails directly from Lt Trepanier with joining instructions for gliding.
- Tuesday, Oct 14, 2025
- 1830 – 2100hrs – Wings Parade at the D-Coy Armouries.
- Dress for the evening will be C1 – Blue Uniforms Orders of Dress Reference
- Wings Parade is a ceremonial parade to give out promotions, achievements and positions for our cadets. Parents and family is welcome to attend. Once the parade is complete no further training will occur for the evening and cadets are free to leave for the night.
- No other training due to holidays.

SQUADRON SPONSORING COMMITTEE:
Every first Tuesday of the month is a Parent/SSC Board Meeting @ 630pm. Thank you to all the parents who attended this year! First meeting with be Oct 21st at Swanavon school across the road from the armouries.
Cash Calendars and Chocolate sales have begun and are available from the SSC on Tuesdays. More details to come.
GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- Please ensure any absences are texted (preferred) or voice-mail to the squadron number – 780-538-3610 via the Admin line (Ext 0), the training line is for training specific questions not attendance. Emailed absences will not be accepted!
- Parents you are highly encouraged to come into the armouries during closing announcements/parade. That way you can hear all the information directly! We normally start them around 915pm.
- If any of your personal information has changed (address, phone number, etc) please inform the Admin Office so that we can update files!
