Here are your weekly announcements, including some important start-up information for the fall.

Website Calendar Update
Our website calendar has been refreshed! We’ve switched to an Outlook-based calendar that integrates more effectively with the Cadet365 platform. If you were previously subscribed to our Google calendar, please unsubscribe and add the new Outlook version. The Google calendar will no longer be updated or supported. If you notice any issues with the new calendar, let staff know so we can resolve them.

- 1830 – 2100hrs – CO’s Parade at the D-Coy Armouries.
  - Dress for the evening will be C3 – Blue Uniforms Orders of Dress Reference
  - No Promotions to be given out tonight, will be saved for our Wings Parade on Oct 14th
Thursday, Oct 2, 2025
- Aircrew Survival
  - Starting Oct 2, 2025 – 1830-2100 hrs at D-Coy Armouries.
  - Aircrew Survival Sign Up
Sunday, Oct 5, 2025
- Band
  - 1700-1900 hrs at the D-Coy Armouries
  - NO musical experience or instrument is required – just an interest in learning!

Monday, Oct 6, 2025
- Drill
  - 1700-1900 hrs at D-Coy Armouries.
  - Drill Sign Up
- Marksmanship
  - 1900-2100 hrs at D-Coy Armouries.

SQUADRON SPONSORING COMMITTEE:

Every first Tuesday of the month is a Parent/SSC Board Meeting @ 630pm. Thank you to all the parents who attended this year! First meeting with be Oct 21st at Swanavon school across the road from the armouries.

Cash Calendars and Chocolate sales have begun and are available from the SSC on Tuesdays. More details to come.

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Please ensure any absences are texted or voice-mail to the squadron number – 780-538-3610 via the Admin line (Ext 0), the training line is for training specific questions not attendance. Emailed absences will not be accepted!
Parents you are highly encouraged to come into the armouries during closing announcements/parade. That way you can hear all the information directly! We normally start them around 915pm.
Planning to move, change phone numbers or any other personal information over the summer! Make sure to inform the Admin Officer of any changes to your file before you leave to make the return to training in the fall that much easier!
