THIS WEEK:

NO Survivair or Band this weekend, DCoy rented to an Antique Market.
Monday May 1, 2023 – Drill Practice, 1900-2100hrs at DCoy Armouries. C2 dress uniform
Tuesday May 2, 2023 – CO’s Parade – 1830-2130hrs at D-Coy Armouries. There will be promotions at the beginning of the night. Dress is C1 Orders of Dress Reference

Important: Our final parade, ACR has changed dates from June 10th to June 4th. Please make necessary arrangements

May 19-22 Spring Field Training Exercise – ALL CADETS who signed up (This is May long weekend)
June 4th ACR (Annual Cadet Review – FINAL Parade of the year – Mandatory for all cadets)

Every first Tuesday of the month is a Parent/ SSC Board Meeting @ 630pm at the Armouries. Next meeting May 2, 2023
June 6, 2023 is the Annual General Meeting held at the D-Coy from 630-730pm, all parents are welcome and encouraged to attend as many large decision will be made and gives you a more detailed look at how the SSC provides many opportunities to our cadets.

Summer Job Opportunity for cadets:
- “We have three positions available for youth from 16 – 29 years of age – Wage is $16 per hour, 35 hours per week for 8 weeks.Cooks helpers:
  Dishes, cleaning, prepping, selling ice cream, setting up tables, chairs and all sorts of odd jobs centered around catering!
  
  Our Caterer Frontier Eatery & Saloon will be holding interviews soon – send your resume to exec.director@motorcycletourism.ca
  
  3 Jobs all slated to start the middle of to end of June.”
Parents you are highly encouraged to come into the armouries during closing announcements/parade. That way you can hear all the information directly! We normally start them around 915pm
TECH TALKS – online episodes to interact with CAF members from across the country and from different profession in the military. Cadets can login using their Cadet365 accounts and attend the interactive online presentations to introduce cadets to various trades.
