📣 GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

• Unfortunately, due to mechanical issues Gliding is cancelled for the remainder of the season. It will resume in the spring. Upcoming Power familiarization flights will hopefully be coming shortly and go into the winter.
• Cash Calendar sales have begun! The Air Cadet League of Alberta produces an annual calendar featuring photos of cadets from across the province. The calendars serve as a fundraising initiative, with proceeds helping support local air cadet squadrons and their activities. Talk to the SSC on Tuesdays to get some calendars!!

🎯 UPCOMING EVENTS

• Ground School
  • Cadets signed up for Ground School who do not have access to Cadet 365/ Teams talk to Lt Trepanier for access. Those with access keep an eye out in your teams AND email/Microsoft calendar for invites to the program
• Remembrance Day Ceremonies
  • Cadets are expected to attend official Remembrance Day ceremonies. Please use the following form to sign up for specific ceremonies
  • Remembrance Day Ceremony Variance Signups – Fill out form
• First Aid Training
  • Cadets in Level 3 or higher can apply for a position in a Standard First Aid (Canadian Red Cross) happening at DCoy Armouries 14-15 Nov. This is being coordinated directly by our RCSU and has limited spots available. Cadets will receive the qualification upon successful completion of the course and will be eligible to wear the Standard First aid badge on their uniform. 🏛️ SQUADRON SPONSORING COMMITTEE (SSC)

• 🤝 Parent & SSC Board Meetings: Held on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 PM.

• 📍 Next Meeting: Nov 10th starting at 6:30pm— Swanavon School (right across the road from the armouries). ALL PARENTS ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!

• 📣 Parent Closing Announcements: We invite parents to come inside around 9:10 PM for final parade announcements so you can get all key updates firsthand!
