- Biathlon Practice – D-Coy Armouries 1000-1130hrs in civilian attire, please dress for the weather.

- Band Practice – At the D-Coy Armouries 1300-1500hrs in civilian attire

- Drill Team Practice – At D-Coy Armouries 1700-1900hrs
- Ground School – At the D-Coy Armouries in large classroom 1900-2100hrs. Jr Ground School is open to cadets 14 years or older. If you are 13 and interested talk to Capt Lynch.
- OGS Cadets:
- Report Cards are due in to the office, only 2 of 12 have been submitted to date
- bring a photocopy of your aviation medical to Admin once you have received the medical
- If you are having issues connecting to C365 contact the Admin staff. Note that the cadet program stands down from 22 Dec to 7 Jan, there will be no C365 support between those dates.
- If you have not started the OGS talk to Capt Lynch ASAP
- OGS Exam is Tuesday 16 January
- there are 5 weeks left to complete the course material

- Marksmanship Team – At D-Coy Armouries in civilian attire. 1900-2100hrs Closed to the selected teams only.

- X-Mas Party – 1830-2130hrs at the D-Coy Armouries, dress for the evening will be festive attire for a year end party. Last training night of the calendar year. We return Jan 9th for CO’s Parade.

SQUADRON SPONSORING COMMITTEE:
- Air Cadet League of Alberta Cash Calendars are available again this year for fundraising. Calendars will be available for pick-up at the beginning and end of Tuesday night training.
- Every first Tuesday of the month is a Parent/ SSC Board Meeting @ 630pm at the Armouries. Thank you to all the parents that attended this week! Next meeting Jan 9, 2024

- Parents you are highly encouraged to come into the armouries during closing announcements/parade. That way you can hear all the information directly! We normally start them around 915pm.

- Marksmanship Day – Open to all cadets, and is at the D-Coy Armouries. 0900hrs-1600hrs, dress will be appropriate civilian attire and lunch is provided. Cadets are to bring with them their blue dress uniforms to help develop uniform standards and skills in caring for uniforms when cadets are not on the range. Sign up here

- Congratulations to our Biathlon teams for their zone competition performance! It was hard fought and we do have a team going to Provincial Championships this year, congratulations to Cdt Lorencz and Cdt Takeuchi, K!!! They will be competing as a team in the Junior Male category.
- Please ensure any absences are texted or voice mailed to the squadron number – 780-538-3610

- Music Clinic leave time – Music clinic cadets should have received their kit lists and paperwork from CI Elliott. You will be leaving on the bus from the D-Coy at 1700hrs, you MUST be at the Armouries by 1615hrs in civilian attire, and have everything you need for the weekend with you.

- Meet and Greet Potluck (Regular Training Night) – 1830-2130hrs at D-Coy Armouries, dress is civilian attire. This is for all cadets and their immediate families (parents/siblings). We ask that each cadet bring something that is assigned to them by last name. If cadets are in the same family, they are only required to bring one thing. Each dish should serve about 10-12 people.
- Please include an index card with indredients for any food supplied, due to allergies. Label all dishes with the cadet’s last name. All dishes must be Peanut Free.
- By Last Name:
- A-C – Mains
- D-J – Desserts
- K-M – Drinks (canned pop, case of juice boxes, case of water, etc.)
- O-S – Sides/Salads
- T-Z – Napkins/Cutlery/Bowls/Plates
- We look forward to seeing all our cadets and their families. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your SSC Board.
