- Drill Competition, Drill team only. Please be at the D-Coy no later than 1400hrs with all required kit. Bus will be leaving at 1500hrs with an intended arrival time in Edmonton of 2000hrs
- Saturday May 13, 2023
- Drill Team returning – Drill set to arrive home at the D-Coy around 2300hrs.

- Spring FTX – Kit List and timing information for the weekend FTX Letter. NOTE: with the current wildfire situation in the region the FTX may be cancelled. We are monitoring the conditions and will have a final go/ no go for May 16th.

Our final parade, ACR has changed dates from June 10th to June 4th. Please make necessary arrangements
UPCOMING DATES:
- May 19-22 Spring Field Training Exercise – ALL CADETS THAT SIGNED UP (This is May long weekend)

- June 4th ACR (Annual Cadet Review – FINAL Parade of the year – Mandatory for all cadets)
SQUADRON SPONSORING COMMITTEE:
- Every first Tuesday of the month is a Parent/ SSC Board Meeting @ 630pm at the Armouries. Next meeting June 6, 2023
- June 6, 2023 is the Annual General Meeting held at the D-Coy from 630-730pm, all parents are welcome and encouraged to attend as many large decision will be made and gives you a more detailed look at how the SSC provides many opportunities to our cadets.
GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- Parents you are highly encouraged to come into the armouries during closing announcements/parade. That way you can hear all the information directly! we normally start them around 915pm
- TECH TALKS – online episodes to interact with CAF members from across the country and from different profession in the military. Cadets can login using their Cadet365 accounts and attend the interactive online presentations to introduce cadets to various trades. See calendar attached for a schedule of talks and the join links TECHTALKS (MUST BE ON YOUR CADET365 ACCOUNTS)

- NO Survivair or Band this weekend, DCoy rented to an Antique Market.
- Monday May 1, 2023 – Drill Practice, 1900-2100hrs at DCoy Armouries. C2 dress uniform
- Tuesday May 2, 2023 – CO’s Parade – 1830-2130hrs at D-Coy Armouries. There will be promotions at the beginning of the night. Dress is C1 Orders of Dress Reference

- “We have three positions available for youth from 16 – 29 years of age – Wage is $16 per hour, 35 hours per week for 8 weeks.Cooks helpers:

- Inter-Squad Day (ALL CADETS)- 0900-1600hrs at D-coy Armouries. Dress is civilian attire that you can move around in. Lunch will be provided, make sure you eat breakfast. Please bring any uniform parts you would like to develop and work on. Recommendations are boots and berets, however ironing, sewing, etc are also acceptable.

- Drill Team – 1300-1500hrs at D-Coy Armouries – make sure you wear your full C2 uniform
- Band Rehearsal – 1500-1700hrs at D-Coy Armouries
- Tuesday Apr 25, 2023 – Fitness Night – 1830-2130hrs at D-Coy Armouries. Dress will be appropriate civilian sports attire. Bring a water bottle with your name on it.
