GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Remembrance Day is around the corner, it is important for cadets to ensure their uniforms are maintained. This year level 1 & 3 cadets will attend the indoor ceremony, level 2 and 4s the outdoor ceremony. The band/flag party will be at the outdoor ceremony, and seniors spread between the 2. If you are wishing to attend another other ceremony outside of Grande Prairie please inform the training staff. Cadets are not allowed to attend other ceremonies in uniform without approval before hand by the Squadron.
Cadets wanting to participate in their school remembrance day ceremonies are free to do so. Make sure your uniform is worn correctly and ironed/boots polished/ clean etc. As well as you are representing the Cadet Program in a positive and appropriate manner. If you are unsure what you should do in your school ceremonies please as the Sqn Staff.

Halloween Party – 1830-2130hrs at D-Coy Armouries. Dress will be appropriate Halloween costumes. Cadets are asked to bring treats according to the flight they are in. Alpha Flight – Candy, Bravo Flight – Chips, Charlie Flight – Pop, Band/Flag Party, Any of the above, Senior cadets – Snacks. Please try and bring individually wrapped items or drinks, NO peanuts. If food contains dairy or gluten please label it.

Ground School is opened to a limited number of cadets, 14 years of age or over. The age threshold may drop to 14 if there is enough space. Note that this is Sqn specific. For those old enough you will also be enrolled in Online Ground School (OGS).Please complete the Ground School Registration form. The Sqn staff will use this information to register you (if you meet the age minimums) for the OGS serial in Fortress. Note that you must complete the OGS to be considered for either the GPTC or PPTC next summer.While you are waiting for the national OGS to start, use the link below to study for the Rules of the Air section of the exam.
