WEEK OF NOVEMBER 19, 2019

This week:

Thursday Nov 21

  • Survivair 1800-2000hrs, Ground School 1900-2100hrs

Friday Nov 22

  • Level 5 Workshop cadets please meet at the armouries for 1300hrs the bus will be leaving at 1330hrs with or without you. We will be travelling in civilian clothing, please bring your full uniform (including elemental t-shirts) and a few pairs of civilian clothes. Make sure you also bring your toiletries and a towel. You will also need your level 5 log books and its recommended you bring a notebook and writing utensils to take notes. We should be returning for around 1730hrs on Sunday Nov 24. If you have any questions please let OCdt Trepanier know (Wyatt.Trepanier@cadets.gc.ca). There will be Drones 1900-2100hrs.

Parents Association

  • Bottle Drive coming up on Nov 30th from 0900-1600hrs. A signup sheet will be going around next Tuesday. These fundraisers benefit the unit, as they allow us to do more activities outside our normal training so the more cadets helping the better.

  • Level 5 Workshops Nov 22-24 The bus will be leaving at 1330hrs on the Friday your travel orders were handed out on Tuesday if you didn’t recieve them please email OCdt Trepanier @ Wyatt.Trepanier@cadets.gc.ca
  • Festival of trees tear down on Nov 24 1700-2100hrs, and Nov 25 1700-2100hrs

WEEK OF NOVEMBER 5, 2019

This Week:

Thursday Nov 7th

  • Survivair 1800-2000hrs; Ground School 1900-2100hrs

Friday Nov 8th

  • Drones 1900-2100hrs; Festival of Trees shift 1700-2100hrs at Tara Centre in Evergreen Park

Saturday Nov 9th

  • Festival of Trees shifts 1000-1300hrs, 1300-1600hrs, and 1600-2000hrs at Tara Centre in Evergreen Park

Monday Nov 11th

  • Remembrance Day Ceremonies are mandatory for all cadets the dress is full uniform. If you don’t have your inform yet please wear your blue t-shirt with black pants or appropriate pants. In GP all level 1 &3 cadets are to be at the indoor ceremony at 1015hrs meeting in the Bowes Family Gardens. All other cadets and band cadets are to be at the outdoor ceremony meeting at the Trinity Lutheran Church next to Jubilee Park at 1030hrs.

Tuesday Nov 12th

  • Cadet Fitness Assessment (CFA). No uniform, please wear appropriate fitness attire (no muscle shirts or tank-tops), and bring a water bottle.

No Drill, Band, and Marksmanship this week 

General Announcements:

  • If you would like to wear your uniform during a school ceremony you are authorized to wear it. You must change into your uniform at school prior to the ceremony and change back into civilian attire after. DO NOT wear your uniform all day.
  • Music Con has been postponed until the new year due to the overwhelming  numbers resulting in a larger venue needed.
  • We will be having a bottle drive on Nov 30th.

Parents Association:

  • Purdy’s Chocolate orders are to be finished by Nov 15, the order should be delivered by Dec 3rd.
  • Cash Calendars were due back yesterday, if you still have to turn them in Veronica Dougherty will be at the armouries on Thursday at 1800hrs to collect them.
