Thursday May 5, 2022

  • Survivair is cancelled this week to allow the drill team to practice before their presentation on Friday. 
  • Drill Team rehearsal at d-coy armouries 1900-2100hrs

Friday May 6, 2022 

  • 1600-1800hrs – D-Coy Armouries Fundraiser Kickoff – Event to showcase what the building does for us and what amazing programs run out of it, to help the cause of fundraising for the buildings renovation.

Sunday May 8, 2022

  • Drill Team 1300-1500hrs 
  • Band Rehearsal 1500-1700hrs this weeks theme is Dinosaurs

Tuesday May 10, 2022

  • Regular training – D-Coy Armouries 1830-2130hrs – Dress will be C3 (same as worn last week), as well here is a digital order of dress reference for cadets. Orders of Dress Reference

  • Tuesday May 3, 2022   Regular Training – 1830-2130hrs – D-Coy Armouries Dress will be blue dress uniforms for cadets (C3), if you have not been issued a dress uniform or it does not fit properly please wear your FTUs as we have been.

  • Thank you to all the parents that attended last weeks Parent Association meeting at the Legion it was good to see new faces and hopefully was informative on the role you as parents have within the cadet program.

UPDATED – Announcement Letter 20 April 22

This week:

  • Thursday Apr 21, 2022 – Survivair 1830-2030hrs D-Coy Armouries. Please bring clothing for outside activities
  • Thursday Apr 21, 2022There is a Parent Association Meeting happening on Thursday 21 April 2022 at 7:30pm at the Grande Prairie Legion. The more parents/guardians that attend these meetings, the better influence you will have on your cadet’s career and know more information about what is going on. Please, if you are able to attend these meetings, do so.
  • Saturday Apr 23, 2022 – Marksmanship Day 0930-1600hrs D-coy Armouries. Dress will be FTUs and if they have cadets are asked to bring their Blue Dress uniform with them. Cadets will be learning to how to safely shoot an air rifle, with uniform care lessons in-between. Lunch is provided.
  • Sunday Apr 24, 2022 – Drill Team 1300-1500hrs D-Coy Armouries.
  • Sunday Apr 24, 2022 – Band Rehearsal 1500-1700hrs D-Coy Armouries
  • Tuesday Apr 26, 2022 – Aircraft Tour – Please see the letter attached for details. (NOT AT D-COY ARMOURIES)

 

Announcements: Week of April 12, 2022

This Week:

  • Thursday Apr 14 Survivair – 1830-2030hrs D-Coy Armouries 
  • Tuesday Apr 21 Regular Training – 1830-2130hrs D-Coy armouries, dress for the evening will be cadets FTU’s
  • NO Band or Drill this week for Easter.

General Announcements:

  • April 23 we have a Marksmanship Day, this is a squadron wide training event for cadets to learn and experience how to shoot an air rifle. More details and timings will be announced next week
  • April 21st There is a parent association meeting at 1930hrs at the Royal Canadian Legion. ALL parents are invited and encouraged to attend as you play a vital role in the squadrons success. 
  • There is a new policy surrounding vaccination requirements for cadets attending overnight training (IE Summer Training courses). If this will affect anyones CTC application please talk to the training staff.
